The Royal Opera House has posted a video revealing some of the tricks which are used in staging the Royal Ballet’s Nutcracker, including the Christmas tree which grows during the famous Transformation Scene. The video also shows how the effect of falling snow is created during the Waltz of the Snowflakes. The Nutcracker is showing until 16 January 2013 and is completely sold out, however it is always worth checking for returns.
